“I count myself as blessed to have stumbles upon the Well Women’s Serenity House at the time that I did. Languishing in despair and battling much frustration and shame, I felt debilitated. Although I had commenced with my recovery, I was still a bit disconcerted about moving into
Sober Living with other women. Having Asperger’s Syndrome and never really “fitting in”, much less clicking with other women, I was looking for a way out.

I am so thankful that I never found one, because not only did I immediately settle in and feel welcomed, but I have already been blessed by these beautiful women and am included and loved. I have already made a friend for life here, and it truly does feel like home. The location is spectacular and convenient, and the program has set me up for success. There is accountability yet grace, and there is structure yet balance. Assistance and resources are at our finger tips, but most importantly, the love in the home stems from, and is built on a solid foundation of God’s love.

God intricately orchestrates our lives, knowing exactly what will bless and heal us, and exactly when that blessing should come our way. While struggling before coming to the house, I was stumbling my way through life, however God stretched out His hand, caught me, and gently placed me here, and I am very grateful.”
